Designer Jewellery including Bridal Collection

Seesaw Florals is excited to be linked with Rachel Clark- a young, innovative and up and coming designer. Rachel has worked for the designer Betty Jackson and has been designing acrylic jewellery for several years.

visit www.rachelclarkjewellery.com to see her exciting jewellery range.

Rachel Clark is a London based fashion designer and artist. She grew up in south London and from an early age, immersed herself in the arts. It was this passion that took her from a foundation art diploma to study a BA degree in Fine Art sculpture at Manchester MET. During her studies she created a series of striking sculptural pieces inspired by the works of Kapoor, Gormley, Goldsworthy and Moore. Her works utilised a range of media including vinyl, plastics, wood, metal, polystyrene and even light to craft her pieces that explored the aesthetics of form and shape.

Upon moving back to London Rachel sold a number of works to Nicky Haslam and took her first steps into the fashion world by landing a position as a buyer for a boutique in the West End, and was a regular at events, parties and Fashion Week. In 2009 she moved on to work for the London fashion icon Betty Jackson in her flagship store on Brompton road, where she stocked her collection and has had coverage in the January 2012 Issue of Jewellery Focus.

Her jewellery offers a subtle blend of these artistic themes with the vibrancy of London fashion. She continuously seeks innovative ways of combining these disciplines to create miniature sculptures that mold round the body like works of art.

From cuffs and rings, to neck pieces and detachable items each one individually hand crafted from Acrylic and set with its own unique detailing of metal, wire, silver, gold and gloss. The bold abstract shapes with textured monochrome surfaces and occasional accents of high shine wrap round the wrist, hand or neck as an extension to the human form.

Since making and selling her inspirational jewellery her tough statement pieces have been lauded and worn by influential people such as designer Manolo Blahnik, Betty Jackson, Brooke Shields, Vogue Italia Editor Franca Sozzani and The Times Fashion Editor Lisa Armstrong.

Rachel will be designing a bridal range for Seesaw florals, including cuffs, rings and innovative pieces.
